Information You Submit
Search Terms
A name or location entered in a search box is sent to the independent provider that operates that tool. Florida Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider's policy governs its handling of a submitted query.
Messages
An email or contact message may be retained for the time needed to reply and maintain the exchange. We do not share a message outside the organization unless the sender asks us to do so or disclosure is required by law.
Automatic Technical Data
Ordinary web logs and analytics may receive basic facts when a page loads.
- Internet Protocol address
- Browser name and version
- Device class and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent
- Referring website, when supplied
- Date and time stamps
Cookies
Cookies and similar tools help measure how visitors use the site and may support advertising. Browser controls can reject or delete cookies, though some functions may then work in a different way.
How Data Is Used
Collected data supports the operation and upkeep of the service.
- Keep pages available and responsive
- Send a search to the selected partner
- Measure which resources visitors use
- Diagnose faults and security events
- Present advertising that may reflect interests
Links and Outside Services
Links may open FDC, FCOR, county custody offices, court portals, federal locators, county subdomains, or independent search tools. Once a visitor leaves, the destination's privacy rules apply. Florida Released Inmates does not register a VINELink alert or retain the private notification details a user enters on that service.
Some advertising partners use their own technology to measure activity across websites. That processing occurs on their systems and is controlled by their notices and opt-out tools.
Possible Data Recipients
We do not sell personal information. Limited information may be handled by these parties when needed for the service or law.
- Search providers processing a submitted query
- Analytics vendors measuring site use
- Advertising networks serving ads
- Law enforcement or another public body acting under a valid legal order
Security Measures
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect information. No networked system can be promised as fully secure, so we cannot guarantee that a breach or loss will never occur.
Visitors Under Eighteen
The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under eighteen. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted information may use the Contacts page to request deletion.
