Florida Records Contacts

Florida Released Inmates is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody or release, release a person, post bond, or obtain an official record.

Choose the Record Custodian

Florida releases occur through the state prison system, county jails, federal custody, and immigration detention. Questions about a date, status, correction, or certified copy must go to the office that created the record. For state-prison records, use the Florida Department of Corrections public-records page or its online Public Records Center. FDC lists 850-717-9774 as its public-records line. County record contacts vary, so the county route is the right starting point for a local jail event.

  • For a county-jail release, open the appropriate county through the County Directory and follow its local records route.
  • For release-record fields and request steps at both levels, start on the Florida released-inmates home page.
  • For an active or closed supervision term, use Probation & Parole and the official FDC supervision search.
  • For a named institution, use the Facility Directory to identify the responsible system.
  • For a state prisoner who left FDC custody, use the FDC offender search and request route.
  • For federal or immigration custody, use the Bureau of Prisons Inmate Locator or ICE Online Detainee Locator System.

FCOR parole orders and final actions belong with the Florida Commission on Offender Review public-records office. Trial-level release orders belong with the clerk in the sentencing county. Site feedback is separate from a government record request and cannot change an official file.
